April 19th 2012 Laptopmag.com gives the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 a rating of 3.5 starts out of 5. They liked the design of this variant of the Galaxy Tab along with its fast performance and form factor. The main negatives they felt were that its quite expensive (when compare to its big screened 10 inch android tablet brother) and its lacks an SD card slot.
